Credit union marketers should note that some traditional benchmarks on website performance, such as bounce rate, will go away when Google’s Universal Analytics (UA) is sunset on July 1, 2023. Instead, marketers will need to track and adapt to engagement rate as a credit union metric. Since GA4 will include mobile app events data should reflect more complete results than could be tracked in UA that did not combine website and mobile results, for example.
