Meg got her start in digital marketing at a nonprofit advertising agency, where she gained initial hands-on experience with paid advertising through the Google Ad Grant. Over time, she expanded her skills to manage ads across various platforms and industries.
Before marketing, she studied to be an EFL (English as a Foreign Language) teacher, earning a B.A. in English/Literature, an M.A. in English/Linguistics, and TESOL certification from Missouri State University. She was accepted into the 2020 JET Program, but ultimately chose to pursue marketing instead. What Meg loves most about digital advertising is the strategy and problem-solving it involves, as well as ongoing opportunities for learning.
Outside of work, she enjoys video games, reading, travel, and studying languages. Her retirement dreams include becoming a plush animal designer or children’s book illustrator.
If Meg were a Beatrix Potter character, she would be a dormouse named Beatrice Chestnut who lives in an old upturned teapot.
