Owners wanted to create the best wedding supplier resource and draw brides to the website with a package of resources and tools unmatched in the area.

Opportunities/Challenges/Problems

The main challenge was to create resources that brides would find extremely helpful to plan their weddings. If successful, brides would flock to the website to post their information, use the online planning tools and refer friends and family to the website. Additionally, BRIDESight felt that if the site would attract brides effectively, then those who provide products and services to the brides will want to become part of the BRIDESight network and advertise their expertise.

  • Built a website where design, graphics and navigation were superior to the competition
  • Created several online, interactive planning tools such as budget calculator, scrapbook, vendor contact lists and event scheduler
  • Provided brides the ability to create their own webpage to inform family and friends
  • Created a vendor membership system in which approved vendors have their own page to showcase their services to the brides. 
  • Developed a custom Flash player used to play BRIDESightTV videos
